Indigenous Relations Council

The mandate of the Indigenous Relations Council (IRC) is to provide advice to the CNA staff and Board of Directors on matters related to the relationship between Indigenous peoples, the nuclear sector and their various industry activities. The purpose is to help the CNA, and the nuclear sector overall, develop and build relationships with Indigenous peoples across Canada, improve the association and sector’s understanding of Indigenous perspectives as they relate to various nuclear issues and developments, and help the CNA and its members advance their reconciliation journeys.
