Breaking Ground
OPG broke ground last year on the Darlington Energy Complex. The 25,000 square-foot multi-purpose building will allow staff working on the Darlington Refurbishment project to be trained prior to performing the intricate work inside the station. The building will also house a public information centre, a training centre and a tooling and testing facility. It is scheduled to be completed the summer of 2013.

Environmental Stewardship
In 2012, OPG will be busy preparing for two Environmental Assessment hearings — one for the refurbishment of Darlington, the other for the Deep Geologic Repository to house low- and intermediate-level waste.
