Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)

The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) is a renowned polytechnic serving over 44,000 students annually through a diverse range of apprenticeship and vocational training programs in fields such as science, technology, business, and skilled trades. NAIT offers 111 credit programs and over 200 non-credit options, providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment with access to world-class facilities.

Under the Department of NAIT Industry Solutions contains the Department of Corporate and Continuing Education (C&CE) and Applied Research (AR). NAIT C&CE collaborates with businesses and governments to provide customized training solutions, ranging from skills assessments to professional development. Focusing on real-world application and client-specific outcomes, C&CE offers flexible training formats, including in-person and online options. Additionally, NAIT’s Applied Research AR partners with industry to foster innovation in areas such as sustainable development and energy transition, featuring five research centers and three Technology Access Centres that help businesses tackle environmental and technological challenges.
