CNA Announces 2026 Board of Directors Election Results and Board Appointments
The Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA) is pleased to announce the election of seven directors at its Annual General Meeting held on June 22, 2026. The Board subsequently appointed two additional directors at its organizational meeting, further strengthening the Board’s collective skills, experience, diversity, and breadth of perspectives.
Directors elected at the Annual General Meeting for a two-year term are:
- Hani Al Anid, Vice President, Nuclear, Calian, Ottawa, ON
- David Brock, Vice President, Nuclear Development, SaskPower, Regina, SK
- Lisa Frizzell, Vice President, Communications, Nuclear Waste Management Organization, Toronto, ON
- Julianne den Decker, Senior Vice President, Operations, Candu Energy Inc., an AtkinsRéalis company, Pickering, ON
- Liam Mooney, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Cameco Corporation, Saskatoon, SK
- Jason Nouwens, Director, Regulatory and External Affairs, NB Power, Quispamsis, NB
- Bill Walker, Vice President, Government Relations, BWXT Canada Ltd., South Bruce Peninsula, ON
Directors appointed to the Board to hold office until the next Annual General Meeting are:
- Shane Chegahno, Executive Vice President and Co-founder of Makwa Development Inc., (Cahill Constructors Limited), Neyaashiinigmiing, ON
- Andy Forsyth, Vice President, Business Development, Millwright Regional Council, Gooderham, ON
