CNA Announces 2026 Board of Directors Election Results and Board Appointments

The Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA) is pleased to announce the election of seven directors at its Annual General Meeting held on June 22, 2026. The Board subsequently appointed two additional directors at its organizational meeting, further strengthening the Board’s collective skills, experience, diversity, and breadth of perspectives.

Directors elected at the Annual General Meeting for a two-year term are:

• Lisa Frizzell, Vice President, Communications​, Nuclear Waste Management Organization, Toronto, ON
• Julianne den Decker, Senior Vice President, Operations, Candu Energy Inc., an AtkinsRéalis company, Pickering, ON
• Liam Mooney, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Cameco Corporation, Saskatoon, SK
• Jason Nouwens, Director, Regulatory and External Affairs, NB Power, Quispamsis, NB
• Bill Walker, Vice President, Government Relations, BWXT Canada Ltd., South Bruce Peninsula, ON

Directors appointed to the Board to hold office until the next Annual General Meeting are:
