Regulatory Affairs
The CNA Regulatory Affairs team works with industry and government to support the efficient and safe operation and advancement of the nuclear industry in Canada. Though the team has a diverse range of responsibilities, their primary objective is to provide timely and strategic regulatory input and guidance to CNA member organizations.
This includes, for example, closely monitoring and engaging on national and international activities involving non-members, thereby amplifying the interests of CNA members and the broader nuclear industry. This proactive engagement helps ensure that the industry’s voice is heard and considered in relevant regulatory discussions and decisions.
The team is also responsive to member-specific requests, offering tailored regulatory guidance and assistance as needed. This personalized approach underscores our collective commitment to serving the unique needs of every CNA member organization, from the smallest manufacturer to the largest utility.
