Joint World Nuclear Association-ICRP Workshop Enabling Sustainable Development Through the System of Protection: Practicality and Alignment
This workshop, jointly organised by World Nuclear Association and the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) and in coordination with our partners at Bruce Power, Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA), International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA), and McMaster University, is a follow-up to the 3 October 2024 webinar that explored a number of key topics which will play an important part in the review and revision of the System of Radiological Protection and in enabling sustainable development such as the COP28 ambition of tripling nuclear capacity.
COG’s Collaboration Week (CCW)
COG’s bi-annual Collaboration Week (CCW) is a unique opportunity for nuclear professionals and technical experts to network, learn from one another, and drive innovation forward.
CCW 2023, held in Niagara Falls, Ontario, brought together over 400 participants from Canada and around the world to share knowledge, best practices, and experiences on topics such as asset management, fuel handling, and research and development.
As the industry manages the existing fleet while advancing new nuclear technologies and builds, while prioritizing cybersecurity, integrating artificial intelligence and other technological advancements, coordination and cooperation across the industry and supply chain will be essential to meet ambitious targets.
CCW 2025 will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and advancing Canadian nuclear energy as a cornerstone of our country’s clean energy future.
