This year, Azerbaijan has been selected as the Presidency of the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29), to be hosted in Baku this November. Azerbaijan has a strong track record of hosting international events and has chosen Baku Stadium as the venue for COP29.

To deliver a process that is transparent, impartial and inclusive, the COP29 Presidency has developed a plan based on two mutually reinforcing pillars to enhance ambition and enable action.

It is a unique opportunity for leaders from academia, the corporate world and government to gather in person and virtually and chart a path forward in a rapidly changing landscape.

Innovation has been the key to the success of nuclear for over 60 years, and the pace of change is accelerating. Through the exchange of views, ideas and information, participants to the conference can answer questions such as:

• What is the latest research on innovative technologies?
• How are companies using these technologies now, and how are they planning to use them?
• How will governments regulate these technologies?

By 2040, the IndoPacific will represent 50% of global GDP.  Energy transition is a key consideration for this high-growth economic region to support rapidly growing electrification needs and to meet net-zero goals.

Canada offers world-leading energy solutions, resources, and technology. This high-impact, inaugural Summit will profile Canada’s role as the go-to partner to meet the region’s unique energy security and sustainability needs. This will also serve as a landmark initiative to establish the Canada-ASEAN energy transition partnership, which will generate value for the Canadian economy and create long-term commercial opportunities for its energy sector.

This Summit will provide a sought-after platform for exchanging insights, forging partnerships, and exploring bilateral investment opportunities. By convening senior stakeholders and decision-makers, sharing best practices, and exploring the immense investment potential Canada poses, this event will result in mutually beneficial economic outcomes and an acceleration of the energy transition on both sides.

This year’s conference will take place at etc. venues County Hall, along with an exhibition space allowing you to showcase your capabilities, interact with colleagues and make some new connections.

In 2025, the Canadian Radiotheranostics Leaders’ Summit will be expanding in scope and scale to reach new audiences and include more opportunities to discuss new and emerging trends, research, and applications.
