Nick Aroutzidis, M.A.Sc., P.Eng is the founder and Senior Managing Partner for NA Engineering Associates Inc. His firm has offices in London, Kincardine with its Head office in Stratford, Ontario.
Originally from Athens Greece, Nick immigrated in 1978 to London, Ontario in pursuit of a better life. In 1980 Nick attended the University of Western Ontario and completed a Degree in Applied Mathematics. After graduating, Nick obtained both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering at the University of Waterloo. After working for an Engineering Consultant from 1989 to 1993 and obtaining his Professional Engineering designation, Nick founded his own Engineering Consulting Business in Stratford in 1994. The business grew rapidly necessitating a Stratford move to a larger renovated facility and a second office was opened in London in 1999. In 2007, NA Engineering Associates opened a third office in Kincardine, Ontario.
Professionally, Nick is a member of the following groups and associations: Professional Engineers of Ontario (Designated Consulting Engineer and Building Design Specialist), the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers, the Canadian Home Builders Association and the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction. Nick holds a Bill-124 BCIN Registration and is also a member of the Association of Professional Engineers in Nova Scotia, Manitoba and Alberta.
Nick is deeply involved with charities and community service; he has sat of the Board of Directors for United Way (Perth County), the Board of Directors for the Stratford Cullitons Hockey club, and the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Stratford and Tavistock, Ontario, and Chairperson for the Rotary Respite House.
Nick resides in Stratford Ontario with his wife and has three adult children and a grandson.
