We welcome submissions that touch upon the diverse range of topics that fall under the nuclear banner, that push innovative concepts and support industry best practices in areas such as research, power generation, environment, safety or nuclear medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are also eager to welcome speakers from across industries such as energy, mining, law, and the environmental field to identify and advance opportunities for our sectors to work together to meet net-zero emission targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage applications from speakers from traditionally under-represented groups to support diversity and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons aligncenter is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/CNA2021Callforspeakers\">Apply Now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>CNA2021 is seeking dynamic presentations in the following theme areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Innovation in the nuclear field including SMR\u2019s, medicine and hydrogen<\/li><li>Climate change and sustainability<\/li><li>Nuclear impacts on non-nuclear sectors<\/li><li>International developments and the Canada-US dialogue<\/li><li>Advancing indigenous and community engagement<\/li><li>Diversity, inclusion and the next generation work force<\/li><li>Technologies for the future, including storage<\/li><li>The economics of the nuclear industry and sustainability<\/li><li>Nuclear realities in the realm of public affairs<\/li><li>Upcoming legal and regulatory opportunities and challenges<\/li><li>Existing assets, refurbishments, and decommissioning<\/li><li>Canada\u2019s position on the global stage<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Got a better idea?<br>If you have a unique idea, presentation or session concept that does not necessarily fit in the categories outlined above, we want to hear about it. There\u2019s always room for great ideas that advance the nuclear industry and we\u2019ve left an open theme section, just for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for submissions is February 12, 2021.
