D\u2019apr\u00e8s Hossam\u00a0A.\u00a0Gabbar, professeur \u00e0 la <a href=\"http:\/\/nuclear.uoit.ca\/\">Facult\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques et de la science nucl\u00e9aire<\/a> de l\u2019IUTO (affect\u00e9 conjointement \u00e0 la Facult\u00e9 de g\u00e9nie et de sciences appliqu\u00e9es de l\u2019universit\u00e9), ce processus aidera les exploitants de centrales nucl\u00e9aires \u00e0 comprendre vraiment les possibilit\u00e9s de d\u00e9faillances et \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer la meilleure fa\u00e7on de les pr\u00e9venir.<\/p>\n<p>Gabbar et ses \u00e9tudiants ont \u00e9labor\u00e9 des mod\u00e8les informatiques qui font appel \u00e0 des donn\u00e9es en temps r\u00e9el des services publics et simulent des probl\u00e8mes, ou des \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9faillances\u00a0\u00bb, dans les centrales nucl\u00e9aires.<\/p>\n<p>Il est possible de mettre en \u0153uvre cette m\u00e9thode fond\u00e9e sur des mod\u00e8les en parall\u00e8le avec une centrale r\u00e9elle. Elle est cens\u00e9e am\u00e9liorer le rendement des syst\u00e8mes en renfor\u00e7ant la s\u00fbret\u00e9 des centrales.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Des exploitants comme OPG et Bruce Power pourront vraiment mod\u00e9liser les d\u00e9faillances et les probl\u00e8mes se rapportant \u00e0 des \u00e9quipements essentiels et d\u00e9terminer quels sont les niveaux ou les barri\u00e8res de protection et \u00e9valuer la probabilit\u00e9 de diff\u00e9rentes d\u00e9faillances\u00a0\u00bb, a expliqu\u00e9 M.\u00a0Gabbar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Le r\u00e9seau de la s\u00e9mantique des d\u00e9faillances aidera les exploitants \u00e0 mieux comprendre les sc\u00e9narios de propagation des d\u00e9faillances r\u00e9els et \u00e9tablira le lien entre ces sc\u00e9narios et les niveaux de protection n\u00e9cessaires pour en venir \u00e0 bout.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Gabbar et ses \u00e9tudiants ont effectu\u00e9 plusieurs \u00e9tudes de cas simulant des d\u00e9faillances associ\u00e9es \u00e0 la production de vapeur et \u00e0 la pression de la vapeur.<\/p>\n<p>Les centrales nucl\u00e9aires canadiennes figurent parmi les meilleures dans le monde au chapitre de la s\u00fbret\u00e9.
