Cette autorisation permet \u00e0 OPG de passer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tape de \u00ab\u00a0l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019arr\u00eat garanti\u00a0\u00bb et d\u2019entamer les essais \u00e0 faible puissance. Darlington\u00a03 est le deuxi\u00e8me des quatre r\u00e9acteurs Candu en cours de remise \u00e0 neuf, qui devrait s\u2019achever au d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e\u00a02024. L\u2019unit\u00e9\u00a02 a r\u00e9ussi sa remise en service en avril 2020, les travaux de r\u00e9fection de l\u2019unit\u00e9\u00a01 ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 en f\u00e9vrier et devraient prendre fin \u00e0 la mi\u20112025, et la remise \u00e0 neuf de Darlington\u00a04 devraient commencer au troisi\u00e8me trimestre de 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bruce Power a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un exploit remarquable en finalisant le chargement du combustible \u00e0 Bruce\u00a06 en avance sur le calendrier. Cette prouesse est un facteur essentiel d\u2019une initiative plus vaste qui vise \u00e0 prolonger de 30\u00a0ans la dur\u00e9e de vie op\u00e9rationnelle de six r\u00e9acteurs Candu sur le site de Bruce Power. Chaque grappe de combustible utilis\u00e9e dans ces r\u00e9acteurs g\u00e9n\u00e8re une \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 propre \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 celle produite par 400\u2009000\u00a0kg de charbon ou 400\u2009000\u00a0m\u00e8tres cubes de gaz naturel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Avantages de la remise \u00e0 neuf<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La remise \u00e0 neuf accro\u00eetra le rendement du capital investi dans le parc nucl\u00e9aire de l\u2019Ontario en doublant sa dur\u00e9e de vie \u2013&nbsp;et procurera plusieurs autres avantages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lutte contre le changement climatique<br><\/strong>En continuant \u00e0 utiliser l\u2019\u00e9nergie nucl\u00e9aire sans \u00e9mission, l\u2019Ontario pourra \u00e9viter de br\u00fbler plus de combustibles fossiles et d\u2019\u00e9mettre <a href=\"https:\/\/cna.ca\/fr\/les-avantages\/climat\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019air<br><\/strong>Le parc nucl\u00e9aire de l\u2019Ontario a permis \u00e0 la province de mettre fin \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation du charbon, entra\u00eenant une forte <a href=\"https:\/\/cna.ca\/fr\/les-avantages\/qualite-de-l-air\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">r\u00e9duction du nombre de journ\u00e9es de smog<\/a> et de probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 respiratoire.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois<br><\/strong>Selon les <a href=\"https:\/\/cna.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Refurbishing-Ontario\u2019s-Nuclear-Fleet-a-Major-Economic-Boost.pdf\">Manufacturiers et Exportateurs du Canada<\/a>, la remise \u00e0 neuf d\u2019un r\u00e9acteur fournira l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de 6&nbsp;500&nbsp;ann\u00e9es d\u2019emploi direct.
