Here you will pick up your name badge, which is required for entry and your conference kit including all printed information and CNA products.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"collapseomatic2\">\n<h3><b>13:00 \u2013 16:00 Regulatory Affairs Seminar<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">The 2020 CNA Regulatory and Environmental Affairs seminar will once again provide members an opportunity to hear updates from a number of key regulators including the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), Environment Canada and the newly created Impact Assessment Agency. Additional details to come.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\">N.B.<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> Registration is required for all seminars. Attendance at the pre-Conference seminars is first and foremost a benefit for employees of CNA member companies who are fully registered for CNA2020. Please see the registration terms and conditions for more information.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-size: inherit;\">13:00 \u2013 16:30 Public Affairs Seminar<br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">For the nuclear industry, it isn\u2019t enough to have a crisis communications plan. Private companies, government agencies and other organizations need to review, practice and update their plans regularly.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"collapseomatic1\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">During the seminar, Argyle Public Relationships President Daniel Tisch will lead a crisis communications training session. After sharing key principles of crisis communications, Tisch will conduct a real-time simulation to see how different departments would work together during a nuclear incident.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">The three-hour seminar will also include an update from Hill + Knowlton Vice-President Kevin Bosch about what to expect from the recently elected federal government. Find out how the nuclear sector could be affected as it works to protect refurbishments and develop small modular reactors across the country. Bosch will focus on what communications messages and tactics will have the greatest impact on the Liberal minority government\u2019s decisions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\">N.B.<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> Registration is required for all seminars.
